Chris McConnehey is a lifelong West Jordan resident, husband, and father of five with a proven record of delivering practical results. Chris served 12 years on the West Jordan City Council where he focused on solving real problems and improving day-to-day quality of life for residents while being careful with taxpayer dollars. During his time in office, West Jordan added police officers and firefighters to keep public safety services aligned with growth, upgraded playgrounds and parks, improved pedestrian safety through better crosswalk design standards, and started the city’s transition to more efficient and cost-effective LED street lighting. He also worked to strengthen the city’s financial footing and long-term planning, advocated for modernized financial systems, and saved the city millions by pushing back on flawed purchasing practices.
